Beauty and Honor!

I know I have said it before but here it goes again…..I have the best job in the world! Not a day goes by that I don’t have fun and today was no exception. Yes, another new model and yes….Wow! I never imagined when I put a bulletin out on Myspace looking for volunteer models that I would get such wonderful results. I have been able to meet new and seriously fun individuals. I can’t wait for more!

Jennifer showed up today ready to go with a bag full of clothes and a mind full of ideas. It was another 3+ hours in the studio but below you can see what her tireless efforts helped accomplish. Thank you for your hard work and willing personality Jennifer! I look forward to doing this again.

As always, I look forward to everyones thoughts and comments.

-Chris

…..Meet Krystal

Hello again! We have been having a blast around here and today was no exception. Although we just met, Krystal and I spent 3 hours in the studio this afternoon. Almost all of our ideas were a success and we captured some amazing images. The session began pretty typical…..a lot of talking to get to know each other and figure out what we want to do. I kept the lights moving, and the backgrounds changing while she did her thing……look good and have fun doing it!

Thanks for all your hard work today Krystal – You’re welcome back anytime! Here are just a few results of today’s efforts. Enjoy!

Portraits, portraits, and more portraits!

Hey there fellow bloggers! This week is bringing some fantastic portraits! Recently we put out a request for some models to help us out and we had a really good response. Our goal is to use our new backgrounds and work on some new processing techniques before our busy season kicks in.  What a great way to spend the week and have fun. In return for their hard work the volunteer models receive a free studio photo session and I will be providing them a few prints of their favorite images. Not to mention all the fun along the way!

The first model below is Chris. We met not too long ago when I did her High School Senior portraits. She’s a natural [ham] in front of the camera and it shows! She brought tons of engery and enthusiasm (again). Also with Chris was her boyfriend Jacob. He brings a style and look that we will welcome back anytime for more portraits. I think we need to talk Chris into being our model for Pinup work! She’s got the look don’t ya think? Ok, Enough story telling….on to the photos!

Ok, before you ask…..she’s married! :)

Today was our first time working with Kandi and she is awesome. Our 1 hour session actually took 2 hours but it was worth it. Thanks for being patient Levi! We got some killer images today. I used some new processing techniques on all of these too. I’d love to hear your thoughts on them.

We have sessions all week so many more images are coming. Keep checking back, enjoy all there is to see here and thanks again for looking!

Ok, this last one is my first attempt at an “old time” looking photo. Not sure why I felt the need to take a beautiful image and make it look antique but I kinda like it. This small web version doesn’t do it justice. The full size image looks much better. Anyone want to share their thoughts on this one?

Thanks again for looking

March Madness!

Hi there! First, thanks for stopping by to read this. We have been extremely busy around here. Our efforts have been geared toward our new products, additions to what we currently have and the design and implementation of our new Lifetime Portrait Program! Yes, you heard me correctly…..our Lifetime Portrait Program! Finally, after months of teasing you with the idea, we have opened the program for membership. I would like to thank everyone for showing such a huge interest in our programs and portrait clubs. They not only give you the opportunity to get all your portrait needs filled but we truly enjoy seeing you all on a regular basis.

We have also opened our High School Senior Representative program for the Class of 2009. Between now and May 15, 2008 we will be accepting applications for Senior Reps. If you’re not sure what all of this means please check out our Senior website http://www.frozenimagephoto.com/Seniors.htm to read the details. Or course, you may call us anytime and we would be happy to go over everything with you.

Something else really huge this month is the re-design of our pricing structure. We have added many new print sizes, 25 new Canvas Wrap sizes and options, a new line of Canvas Wrap Composites (we’re proud of these!), new Image Boxes (my favorite!) and some cool new folios - Beyond the additions we have simplified our entire system to make your experience here even nicer :)

Two days ago we decided to do something I always said I would never do. We put our “PC’s” and windows platforms on the retirement shelf and purchased state-of-the-art Mac systems! What ever took us so long. Going from PC to Mac is like living your entire life under water then finally finding the surface and taking your first breath of fresh air! What does this mean to you? Not only are we breathing fresh air but we can work more efficiently (time is money), have a smoother workflow and will have the need for fewer upgrades. All of this equals cost savings that we pass along to you! Not to mention the fact that we have new toys to play with :)

Lastly, in the event you have not seen our most recent newsletter you can find it here http://www.frozenimagephoto.com/Newsletter.htm

Check back in a few days. We have been busy in the studio and I will get more images up here. We have some incredible new background and prop things happening here.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

New look for 2008!

Hey there! We hope the new year has been treating you well. Our year has been exciting to say the least. We talk to many of you on a regular basis so you know what we have been up to. However, some of you may need to be brought up to date.
Our daughter, Kamryn, was born December 31, 2007. Nothing has been the same since! Not only has she changed our life in general but she has brought new energy to what we do as photographers. We are extremely excited for what 2008 has in store for you (and us!). Below are a few new portraits of Kamryn and I that we took 2 days ago! Looks like Tanja is gaining some serious skills in the studio!

We will have coupons and advertisements exclusive to our newsletters and Blog this year. Reading them is the best way to save money! Cool huh! Besides that, you’ll get to see constant updates with new portraits here.
So, many new, fun and exciting things. As a matter of fact I already know what tomorrow’s Blog is going to be about!
For tonight, I want to leave you with a few favorite portraits I took yesterday (yes, on Valentines day!)
